BREAKDOWN:
This scene is an exercise I created for myself when I learned about rotoscoping in Aftereffects. The resulting scene is a combination clean plates, roto work and masking for both actors. A liquify effect with roughen edges was used for the teleporting. For the car crash I used the puppet pin tool to simulate the hit and a simple keyframe to simulate the body flying away.
